Who are we? Sweet Cheeks Honey is a newly established bee and honey business located in Southern Minnesota. Tucked back into acres throughout Le Sueur and Rice County, our beehives are doing their work, pollinating flowers, apple trees and more while providing delicious honey for you!
Mark and Sara, beginning farmers and the masters behind the bees, are still newlyweds. The nickname “sweet cheeks” being a bit of a razz between the two of them for the past 2 years, seemed fitting for their business which they hope will add a dash of sweetness to your life.
Equally, the environment is extremely important to Mark and Sara. That is one of the reasons they decided to raise bees. For their future farm site, they have clean energy plans in the works involving wind and solar power.
Our first batch of honey is planned for availability in spring 2015.
